During Indian Head Massage the upper back, shoulders, neck, scalp, head, and face is massaged, whilst lying down or seated.

A range of different massage techniques, pressure points and rhythms are used to stimulate the head and neck area. The techniques used releases muscle tension, stimulates circulation, stretches, and mobilises the tissue of the neck and shoulders and stimulates lymphatic drainage.
